Built on a single shipment of mangoes
Asra Enterprises was established in Hyderabad in 1987 as an authorized exporter and importer of perishables. Our first exports were mangoes — and within a few years we had grown into India's biggest mango exporter, with customers across the Middle East and Singapore.
The decades since have added premium dates, a full range of fresh fruits and vegetables, distribution to more than 150 retail stores across South India, and an e-commerce store serving households nationwide. What hasn't changed is how we work: produce procured from the most trusted growers, inspected against consistent quality standards, and handled with care at every step.
Today, under the leadership of Mr. Azeem Ansari, Asra Enterprises has traded over 25,000 metric tonnes of fresh produce — and we're still growing.

Seven airports. One historic flight.
Fresh produce exports expand to seven major airports across the Middle East — and we become the first company to load a chartered cargo flight exclusively with mangoes.

Premium dates join the range
We import dates from Iraq for the first time, expanding into the category that now defines Asra Fresh for many customers. Retail distribution grows past 150 stores across South India.
- 2020s
Direct to your door
Asra Fresh launches its e-commerce store, bringing export-grade dates, fruits and vegetables to households across India.
